Hall of Fame Award Nomination
Hall of Fame Criteria
- No minimum membership to the IHSBCA
- Must have been an Illinois High School Baseball Coach for a minimum of 25 years
- Must have been an Illinois High School Baseball Varsity Head Coach for a minimum of 15 years (rare cases, the committee may permit a non-coach to be considered.
- Must be nominated and all proper forms sent to Hall of Fame Committee. No one will be automatically put into the IHSBCA Hall of Fame without proper paperwork submitted.
Mike Herbert Distinguished Service Award Nomination
This award recognizes an individual with a long history of supporting Illinois High School Baseball players, coaches, or community.
Bob Udell Umpire of the Year Award Nomination
Assistant Coach of the Year Award Nomination
Tom Hull Scout of the Year Award Nomination
Media Relations Person of the Year Award Nomination
Ethics in Coaching Award Nomination
The IHSBCA wishes to recognize an individual IHSBCA Member who embodies the highest ethical standards in all aspects of their participation in baseball. We believe the game of baseball teaches life lessons and therefore those involved in the game should model the character traits of discipline, fairness, honesty, integrity, loyalty, personal responsibility, and respect.
